Baby Dedication

On November 7th we dedicated Evan at church. For those of you who aren't aware of what a baby dedication is, I will explain:

It's a public commitment to raise your child up according to the will of God. It's placing your child in the hands of God, realizing that he is not your child, but he is a gift given to you from God and you will treat him as such. It is also a commitment of the church to pray for you as a family and to be available for help, guidence, and encouragement.


Most of the family was able to make it. Those who didn't come were not able because they were out of town. We're sorry you couldn't be there for this wonderful occasion but you were in our thoughts :).
After the dedication, we went to dinner and enjoyed Evan hamming it up. He was being quite silly.
